25 Mile Route

Basic great ride through the beautiful curves of Walker’s Cut ( with police escort) out to the Walland Post office turning right left on Old Walland Highway Turn around at Coulter Bridge ( rest stop)
Come back all the way on Old Walland Highway, and for a new twist this year, turn left onto Cameron Rd and then right on Carr’s Creek for a cool ride back to Dancing Bear via the Bike Path. For the adventuresome take a left on Old Tuckaleechee pike and ride back and around Davey Crocket Stables for an additional 8 miles. Otherwise, this ride is complete around 23 miles via the Bike Path

40 Mile Route

A brand new twist on a beautiful 40 mile ride through the heart of Walland and Blount County!
After an exhilarating ride through the Townsend curves with police escort, this route turns onto Cold Springs Rd off of Old Walland Highway and follows the 50 mile route until Dripping Springs Rd and takes a left, while the 50 milers take a right. The next turn is a left onto Ellijoy and a perfectly beautiful “back way ride” into Bethlehem Church via Jim Norton and Butch Bayless. Absolutely breathtaking with Chilhowee Mountain in the foreground! Return via Country Lane and Old Walland Highway. New this year is a left turn onto Cameron and a longer loop back to Dancing Bear via Webb Rd and the Townsend Bike Trail!

52 Mile Route

A new route starting at Dancing Bear and Riding through the beautiful Walker’s Cut (with police escort), turning @ the Walland Post office into the heart of Walland, then riding around Bluff mountain, out to Dripping Springs, Dupont, and over Goose Gap cut. Please be careful on Goose Gap. It’s the most un-appealing part of this ride, but it’s only 4.2 miles. Once you get to the Marathon station, take a break if you need to, then turn right and enjoy the impressive ride back along Walden’s Creek and East Millers Cove by Blackberry Mountain. There is one tough hill, but you can do it! . Return Via Old Walland and for a twist, turn left onto Cameron and right onto Carr’s Creek for a new way back along the Townsend Trail! Enjoy!
