Team Building & Company Retreats in the Great Smoky Mountains
Consider Dancing Bear Lodge for your Smoky Mountain Corporate Meetings and Events
Company retreats present a rare opportunity for group members to come together in person for work and relaxation. Colleagues who normally see each other between 9 am and 5 pm get a chance to organically learn more about each other’s personalities in fun settings and begin to better understand one another in a different light. Additionally, the opportunity for fresh ideas, growth, and staff input can be better tapped when you pause the stress of completing daily tasks and think big-picture.
Team building activities form cohesive efforts and give colleagues a chance to bond. Learning new skills, strategic planning, and improved company morale make company retreats a great way to bring your team together for work and play.
Dancing Bear Lodge has partnerships with Smoky Mountain Guides and Adventure Associates for unique training and team building activities both on-site and off-site that will help your team members build the leadership skills necessary to deal with a rapidly changing world. This is a great idea for companies seeking Knoxville Corporate Events, Maryville Company Retreats, or Smoky Mountain Corporate Meetings and Events.

“The Bear Dance”
“The Bear Dance”, painted by William Holbrook Beard, is also known as “The Wall Street Jubilee”. The artist was known for his satirical work, many featuring animals portraying human behavior.
The piece was painted in 1895, as a nod to the new Stock Exchange in New York City, and hung in a gentleman’s club in downtown Manhattan. The painting's theme demonstrates the “Bears of Wall Street, celebrating a successful day of business” but the extraordinary popularity, however, is due almost entirely to an audience of children, who are delighted by the dancing bears who, like children, are free from the concerns of the world.
Our Event Hall, Pavilion, and Appalachian Bistro provide your group with beautiful, spacious facilities for fun and fellowship.
The cuisine at Dancing Bear Lodge truly sets us apart from other event venues.
