This summer, spend a weekend unplugged from technology and reconnect with your adventurous side. Pack your bags and head to Townsend, Tennessee for full weekend of learning how to fly fish at the gateway to the Smokies.
Your days will be spent learning the art of fly fishing at Little River Outfitters Fly Fishing School, and your evenings relaxing at Dancing Bear Cabins luxury basecamp.
Check Friday evening in to your king sized luxury cabin and then join the fly fishing instructors and fellow fisherman at the opening night reception from 5-7 pm at The Apple Valley Cafe. Enjoy bluegrass music, complimentary appetizers and specials on craft beer on our open air deck.
Rise and shine Saturday morning for a day of fly fishing instruction. Meet at Little River Outfitters for day one of their Beginner Fly Fishing School, where you will spend the day in the classroom and on the casting lawn. Hearty picnic lunch provided.
Saturday night cookout and fish fry at the Apple Valley Cafe, featuring authentic southern fare and generous sides, with a special presentation.
Sunday will be spent in the National Park, with on-stream demonstrations and the chance to put it all into action. Lunch and snack provided.
While you are relaxing between excursions, enjoy all our property has to offer. Explore our wooded trails and go for a hike on our 34 acre property, unwind with a private in cabin massage, or just enjoy a soak in your private Jacuzzi tub.
