Dancing Bear Bicycle Bash 2022
The 8th annual 2022 Bike Bash Returns with the  best event yet on Saturday September 17th, 2022!  Riders will be capped at 225 so please register early! We will have three rides of 28, 38, and 55 miles with full support. Our famous post ride gourmet lunch returns with a fabulous spread, live music and complimentary beer. Packet pick up starts on Friday evening 9/16/22  at the Dancing Bean Coffee House or Smoky Mountain Outdoor Center (TBD)  from 5:30-6:30 Pm and resumes on Saturday morning of Race Day (9/17/22) at 7:30 Am.  All rides promptly take off at 8:30 Am this year (30 minutes earlier)  Once again, we will ride through the curves with a full police escort! Post ride gourmet lunch starts at 10:30  Am and ends at 1:30  pm. Please plan your ride accordingly.

* Blount County Partnership: The Blount County Partnership, presenting sponsor for this event, is a cooperative effort between the Blount County Chamber of Commerce, Chamber Foundation, Economic Development Board and the Smoky Mountain Tourism Development Authority.

  • Hosting the event are the Dancing Bear Lodge, The Dancing Bean, and Apple Valley Mountain Village. A gourmet lunch and craft beer will be served post-ride at 11am from the Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Accommodations are available through Dancing Bear Lodge, and feature Rustic Cabins with hot tubs and fireplace, (some with kitchens, all with refrigerators.)
