We’re honored to welcome Garrett and Roger Oliver, two brothers whose creative spirits have shaped both the craft beer and music worlds in profound ways.
Garrett Oliver, Founder and Brewmaster of Brooklyn Brewery and Editor-in-Chief of The Oxford Companion to Beer, is celebrated globally as one of the leading voices in craft brewing. Beyond his pioneering work in fermentation and flavor, Garrett is a captivating storyteller with a deep appreciation for the cultural ties between food, drink, and community.
His brother, Roger Oliver, is a talented New York City-based musician known for his soulful performances and dynamic collaborations across genres. Together, the Oliver brothers will share stories from their respective journeys—spanning breweries, stages, and cities around the world—while picking alongside local Smoky Mountain musicians.
This rare evening offers guests the chance to experience global voices in a local, fireside setting, blending the warmth of Appalachian hospitality with artistry that transcends borders.
