Tickets to this Bluegrass bash INCLUDES a BBQ smorgasbord of smoked chicken, ribs, veggies and more from our in-house smoker, and a huge spread of our favorite Appalachian sides at the Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro, all included with your concert ticket!

Boy Named Banjo

Boy Named Banjo has built a strong following in the Southeast through both their studio releases and live performances. Formed in 2011, the bandmates released their first album “The Tanglewood Sessions” before graduating high school. While their sound has transformed since then, the quality of the songwriting, the hair raising three-part harmonies, the crafty musicianship, and the band’s passion for what they do will always be a constant.

Since 2011, Boy Named Banjo has released its sophomore album, Long Story Short, performed at Bonnaroo, and received a nomination for “Best Local Band (Nashville,TN)” by The Tennesseean.

Described by Sonicbids as, “Tennessee’s Americana Apostles,” Boy Named Banjo is making waves in the music scene and we are honored to have them perform Live on the Lawn at Dancing Bear’s Summer Bluegrass Concert!
