Greetings to our Friends of the Bear!
We have lots going on this holiday season starting with the Townsend Grains and Grits Festival on November 2nd. If you’re looking to get ahead with holiday shopping and want to support local artists, on the 16th there’s going to be a Holiday Handcrafters Festival at the Great Smoky Mountain Heritage Center. Reservations are currently full, but November 28th will mark another Thanksgiving at our Appalachian Bistro. If you’re interested in learning more about a traditional Appalachian Christmas, the GSMHC is also beginning their Christmas in the Village event happening every weekend from November 29th up until the weekend before Christmas. For December, be sure to come to see us at the Townsend Christmas Parade on December 1st. In Maryville they’ll be having the Reindeer Run 5K on December 8th. Also, for fans of our Appalachian Bistro, the Charles Dickens Brunch will be coming back on December 15th and 22nd. On the 24th will be our annual Christmas Eve dinner, and on the 31st will be our New Year’s Eve celebration again

- Cy-bear Monday Sale. Once again, we will be running our big gift card sale on our online store starting December 2nd where we add 20% to any gift card over $100.
- Bear Bucks. For December 1st – 19th, we will be running a new special where you can get three nights for the price of two by using the code BEARBUCKS when booking your online reservation.
- Hibernation Special. Bookings have now opened for our 2025 Hibernation Special which will feature discounted rates from January 3rd to March 13th. Blackout dates excluded."
