Greetings to our Friends of the Bear!
Calling all alumni! Maryville College’s Homecoming Weekend kicks off on Friday, October 25th. The real fun starts October 26th with the craft fair, homecoming parade, and football game. Anderson Hall will also be turned into MC’s very own haunted mansion with decorations inspired by the works of Edgar Allan Poe. Then, on the 31st, there will be Dancing Bear Lodge’s Halloween Spooktacular featuring Appalachian storyteller, Elizabeth Rose telling spooky stories around the fire pit at our Appalachian Bistro. Tickets are now available.

What’s New at the Lodge:
- Hibernation Special
Bookings have now opened for our 2025 Hibernation Special which will feature discounted rates from January 3rd to March 13th. Blackout dates excluded. - Little River Accommodations
Dancing Bear Lodge has now acquired a brand-new property overseeing the Little River. The rooms are available to book now, but they won’t open until October. - Renovation Update
At the start of this month, our front office will move back to the normal space within the Dancing Bean. The new window into our coffee roasting room has also been finished as well as the new seating area inside the coffee house.
