The Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro in Townsend was the sole East Tennessee eatery to make the 2025 list. The farm-to-table restaurant and lodge opened in 2015 and this isn’t the first time it has been recognized nationally. In 2023, TripAdvisor named it one of the 25 top Fine Dining Restaurants in the US.
