Sunday Brunch at the Bear

Sunday Brunch at Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro

The Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro is happy to announce that starting Sunday, May 5th we will be opening our doors for brunch! Sunday Brunch at the Bear will be offered every Sunday from 11 am – 2 pm and will feature an incredible a la carte menu from our award-winning culinary team in addition to the Craft-Your-Own Mimosa and Bloody Mary bar! To mark this occasion, we wanted to provide our readers with some reasons that Sunday brunch is absolutely essential.

Start Your Week Right

Traditionally, Sunday is a day for relaxation. It is the last day of the weekend and, as a result, is a day that many people want to spend doing something special before they have to get back on their weekly work grind. If you are looking for the best way possible to enjoy your Sunday, brunch is a must. Below, we’ve listed just a few reasons that Sunday Brunch at the Bear is the best way to kick off your Sunday.

  • Efficiency – As most people know, brunch is a portmanteau of breakfast and lunch, meaning that you’re technically combining two meals. What better way to start of your Sunday than being ultra efficient with your dining schedule?
  • Variety – Brunch holds a special place in so many people’s hearts because of the variety of food that is available. Instead of being pigeonholed into only breakfast foods or only lunch foods, brunch allows you to choose whatever type of food you want. Want some bacon and eggs? No problem. Feeling a burger to go along with your Bloody Mary? You do you. Looking to satisfy your sweet tooth with some French Toast? We’ve got you covered. Our brunch menu offers an eclectic assortment of dishes, ensuring that everyone will find something satisfying to dine on.
  • No Rush – Far too often, diners feel rushed to finish their meal in a timely fashion in order to get on with the rest of their day. During brunch however it is acceptable, expected almost, to take your time and truly enjoy the delectable dishes that are ordered and the company of the people that you are sharing your table with. Sunday brunch is a meal designed to be slow, giving you the relaxing start you need to make your Sunday the best day of the week.
  • Alcohol – Without a doubt, one of the most popular components of Sunday brunch is the fact that it is totally acceptable, encouraged even, to have a little drink before noon. We’re not saying that you have to start your Sunday with our bottomless mimosas or a custom Bloody Mary from our build-your-own- Bloody Mary bar, but we are saying that no one will bat an eye if you do.

If this blog post has you convinced that you need a little Sunday brunch in your life, please come join us on Sunday, May 5th at the Appalachian Bistro at Dancing Bear. We are an award winning restaurant located in Townsend, Tennessee and we make it our mission to provide all of our guests with the best dining experience possible. If you’d like to review the brunch menu beforehand, feel free to take a look at our website and browse the menu.
