Greetings to our Friends of the Bear! 

Fall is in the air, which means things will be picking up in town the next couple months as the leaves change. Kicking off September is the Great Smoky Mountain Half Marathon from the 5th though 6th. For foodies, the Taste of Blount event will be held at the Theater in the Park next to the Blount County Courthouse on the 4th. Dancing Bear will be holding our annual Bike Bash on the 20th. We are currently full but be sure to check it out next year if you’re interested. The town Fall Festival will be held September 26th through 27th and will feature live bluegrass music, crafts, historical demonstrations, and activities for kids.
